I have been researching the paranormal for more than thirty-three years. My journey started when I was seventeen, soon after losing my grandfather who was my "soulmate". I struggled as many of you have, with the loss of a loved one and found it difficult just to let go! I started to read anything and everything I could about how to communicate with your loved one from the other side; and so was born my LOVE for the paranormal.
HSometimes the life you plan for yourself isn't the life you get and I never thought I would be running around chasing ghosts! My original plan was to be a flight attendant and travel the world by air, but something that I can't explain said that searching for proof of the paranormal was to be my destiny. It became my passion, love, and purpose in life as well as a way to help people understand death.
I launched a weekly blog called BECKS EVERYDAY GHOST HUNTERS, which posted every Tuesdays (Wednesday effective in 2017). I wanted it to be a place that everyone could visit and share ideas. A place where I could share my experiences from some of the most haunted places in the world I’ve been and investigated. During the same time, I also launched my own investigative crew called Lake Cities Paranormal Investigations. My intentions was to help as many people as I could who were experiencing paranormal activity and looking for answers. This crew as well as I has conducted numerous residential as well as business investigations. I treat all our clients like friends that need my help and have stayed in touch with MANY of them over the years which has done my heart good.
I’ve had many amazing paranormal experiences and many after investigating a place in my own backyard...Old Alton Bridge (Goat man's Bridge) in Denton, TX. I believe a spirit followed me home from this location and caused many explainable events to occur at my home. After this, I became passionately fascinated with the dark past connected to this bridge. I now give tours there, and will soon complete my first book on Goatman's Bridge.
I have traveled to some of the most haunted places in the world, such as Alcatraz, the Stanley Hotel, the Winchester Mansion, and the very haunted Rose Hall in Jamaica. This obsession with the paranormal has allowed me to appear on shows such as My Ghost Stories and Ghost Adventures as well as teaching Ghost Hunting 101. In addition to the countless newspaper articles, I’ve give lectures on my many paranormal experiences, as well as interviewed on an array of radio programs worldwide.

Tui Snider is an award-winning author, speaker, photographer, and musician who specializes in quirky, offbeat and overlooked places, historic graveyards, and haunted lore. As she puts it, “I used to write fiction – but then, I moved to Texas!”
After living in Belgium, Italy, and a tiny island with a population of 7, Tui now calls the state of Texas her home. Even so, she has experienced as much culture shock in the Lone Star State as she ever did overseas!
For Tui, travel is a mindset. Her motto is “Even home is a travel destination,” and she believes “The world is only boring if you take everyone else’s word for it.”
Snider’s best-selling books include Paranormal Texas, The Lynching of the Santa Claus Bank Robber, and Unexpected Texas.
In August 2017, Tui Snider releases her 5th book. Called Understanding Cemetery Symbols, this book is a guide to the forgotten meaning of symbols and acronyms our ancestors left on their headstones. Preorder sales are going so well that Understanding Cemetery Symbols has already become an Amazon best seller!
Tui lectures frequently at universities, libraries, conferences and bookstores. In 2016, she was the writer-in-residence for Tarleton State University’s Langdon Review. In 2017, she taught a series of courses at Texas Christian University based on her books.
Snider’s writing and photography have been featured in a variety of publications, including Coast to Coast AM, FOX Travel News, LifeHack, Langdon Review, the City of Plano, Wild Woman Waking, Shades of Angels and many more.
In addition, Tui is a singer/songwriter who plays several instruments. Listeners frequently describe her dream pop album, Come to My Senses, as “mystical” and “magical.”
Tui has worn a lot of hats in her life – literally – and is especially fond of berets. In addition to writing and music, she is an avid photographer.
