The Calumet Historic Hotel dates back to the 19th Century and operated as a railroad stopover for the railway industry. The hotel had two rooms that were rumored to be especially haunted. Room #207 has a ghost that is known to ring reception asking for sundry articles, but once someone reaches the room, the door is locked and there is no one inside. According to reviews, Room #308 is a hot spot for paranormal activity and is one of the most sought after rooms. There have been reports of a lady in a bright dress walking through the hallways who disappears right before their eyes. The piano is the dining room is known to play on its own, and a man dressed in old-fashioned clothing has been seen hanging around before vanishing whenever she is approached.
