Benjamin Rodriguez
I was born in Lansing Michigan in 1981 the youngest of 3 siblings; an older sister and brother. I attended both Holt and Mason school in Michigan. Graduating in 2000. After high school. I had many jobs including working at a car dealership for 15 years. Being a real estate agent and life insurance agent. But I also had allot of side gigs including being a stunt performer and actor. Which has helped me a lot with working a camera and angles and lighting.
In 2013 I got married to the love of my Life Beth Rodriguez. And I stopped working on movies to be with her. Tragedy happened in 2016 when I lost the most important person in my life, my mother. It was a very hard time for me and I went down a dark road for an entire year. Having suicidal thoughts one night I felt like I was being possessed by something dark. Then one day I actually attempted suicide by downing a bottle of cough syrup. But while I was doing it I was aware of what was happening but I couldn't control my actions like I was possessed. And as I came too I was standing in front of the mirror in the bathroom laughing with a sinister look on my face that I knew it wasn’t me... I had to call 911 to get medical help. Thankfully the love of my family got me out of that funk and I’m doing a lot better.
In the early part of 2019 me and my wife together took an interest in the paranormal and that winter I told her I wanted to start my own team which she backed me 100%. I spent a few thousand dollars to get some equipment and recruited myself a team. Then I came up with the name GTI; Ghost Tracking and Investigations. Right before we were to start doing investigations the COVID pandemic struck which put those on hold.
Since the June. We have done 4 investigations so far and I got some really interesting finds. I was planning on learning video editing but decided that’s just too time consuming; especially when your final cut wont upload on YouTube. In addition, I am Native American and also a Traditional Dancer at powwows and ceremonies in Michigan.
