Eleanor Currit

Eleanor Currit grew up in Alaska on a large island near a small town, hauling a skiff in daily to go to town for groceries and visits with the grandparents. She was home-schooled, and got her first job at fifteen, balancing work with school until graduation. She got married a few years later, and worked briefly at a popular restaurant. During that time, she kept picking away at the stories she had been writing since she was eleven. When she was expecting her first child, Eleanor wrote The Snow Queen's Daughter, imagining it as a story she would read to her own children. Currently, she has five published works.
