Michelle Robert Smith is a Registered Reflexology Practitioner trained and certified by the Reflexology Association of Canada(RAC) and has been practicing Auricular Acupressure for 18 years. She is passionate about resetting peoples frequency by squeezing their ears with a rhythmic pulsating finger technique to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, kill pain and holistically relieve the body of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy blockages, restoring the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

She was first introduced to alternative health therapies while living in Austria in 1991 when her son encountered medical problems. After returning to Canada in 1995, she established an organic food co-op which operated from 1996 to 2002 in her community at Midland Ontario. Her growing interest in holistic healing led Michelle to an opportunity to move away from the business world she’d always worked in.

She began her career as a therapist when she enrolled to study and be certified by the R.A.C. at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, in 2001. She studied foot, hand and ear reflexology/ or auricular acupressure with RAC instructor Alanna Hewitt which launched Michelle into her lifelong passion of easing pain and discomfort and providing soothing relief from acute and chronic conditions. She was enlisted to speak on and share her ancient healing art with community groups and businesses in her local communities.

When Michelle relocated to Spain in 2008 to practice Auricular Acupressure, she travelled transatlantic aboard the WINDSTAR sail cruiser and it was there, that she gave her first Auricular Acupressure workshops the passengers aboard the ship. Arriving in Spain, the tiny island of Ibiza welcomed Michelle’s healing hands with open arms and she founded Ibiza Reflexology in 2010.

The more ears she squeezed, the more she was encouraged to teach the world about this phenomenal ear squeezing art. These requests ultimately led to the creation of an online course with an ebook on how to do auricular acupressure to oneself, with accompanying videos and tutorial classes. In 2014, Michelle founded Reflexologists Without Borders, a non-profit group of over 1,000 reflexologists from around the world participating in expanding our local knowledge on a global scale and growing awareness of our healing art the world over.

Adding to her skills she studied Facial Reflexology in 2015.

Overcoming family tragedy and personal injury Michelle returned to Canada and settled in the Kitchener Waterloo Region in 2017 to be near family and introduce auricular acupressure to the area. She is one of currently only 27 Ear Reflexology/Auricular Acupressure Therapists listed in Canada, of which there are 11 in Ontario, with no others in the Kitchener Waterloo Region.

Michelle is a registered member in good standing with the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario (RRCO) as a Registered Reflexology Practioner (RRPr).

Her mission is to personally assist individuals on their healing journey and offer hope, freedom from pain and self-empowerment, significantly improving the quality of life for each client with the little know art of auricular acupressure.

Her goals are to provide exceptional service to clients and to expand knowledge and awareness of the self-healing potential we all carry.

She and her cat Ekaterina currently reside in the beautiful city of Waterloo, Ontario CANADA.
