Niara has been a spiritual seeker from almost the cradle up. After discovering a disturbing three-month block of missing time in 1980 from her time as an enlisted airman in the U.S. Air Force – during which she had only the most general of memories – Niara underwent hypnosis to recover some of that missing time and to investigate other earlier memories and strange dreams from childhood on into adulthood. What she discovered was life-altering, turning her life upside down for a good many years, launching her into years of study and research to find out what had happened to her, why, and in what political and social context it could happen, and to heal from the ensuing emotional fallout.

That healing journey has been an awakening to a much more multi-dimensional universe. A lifelong learner across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including various sciences, personal growth and spiritual practice, Niara’s healing process opened her up to amazing insights about the world we live in and our place and relationship to the larger universe around us. She has discovered that much of the current negativity in the world and the fear it generates can be the very evolutionary pressure needed – if we can embrace the learnings it offers – to help humanity make the leap in consciousness required at this critical time in the Earth’s history.

In 2013, Niara published a book about her experiences, healing and insights called Facing the Shadow, Embracing the Light: A Journey of Spirit Retrieval and Awakening. Today she is certified in Dolores Cannon's Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy, and in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to better help others heal who have experienced trauma and PTSD. Niara is also a member of the Exopolitics Institute Advisory Board.

As an experiencer of extraterrestrial abduction/contact and strange MILAB-type experiences while in the Air Force, Niara has gained deep insights into the workings of our world and the roles that different groups of extraterrestrials may be playing in it. Today she works to raise public awareness about the reality of extraterrestrials, to shed light on the machinations of the “shadow government” and re-frame it all in a life-affirming and hope-filled vision of where we may be headed as a species from her own life-long spiritual experience and perspective.
